Brief Statement:

A student's right to privacy is governed by a variety of rules and regulations. One is Federal Law, a second is SDSU policy and the third is my belief that you have a right to privacy. SDSU has developed a very extensive records policy.

In general I will not release any information about you. I will not release information to, for example, such individuals as: parents, friends, wives, husbands, children, other students and the general public. The kind of information I do release is covered by SDSU policies.

As an example of what I do release at the end of each semester is your grade in the class. This information is released only to Admission and Records and not to anyone else, so I will not post final grades (or any other grades) on my door. If you wish we can make arrangements for you to get your grade directly from me.
